"Here's a picture of a bad place to be at pipeline... :-O That's what happens when one sits deeper than everybody else consistently. Only one other surfer out that day. About 15 bodyboarders. Pipe was crazy and out of control. All the pros and locals were sitting on the beach gawking at the waves. A lifeguard tried to keep me from paddling out. I don't blame him - Haole and on a longboard no less."

Marina wearing snowboard jacket. Yes it was that cold. Photo: James QueenI was riding my bike to the beach to play beach volleyball. I nearly
rode my bike towards the rocks while watching perfect peeling waves at
the jetties. There were bunch of photographers lined up there taking
pictures of the surfers riding in the barrels. The riders kept on
getting barreled, one after another without fail. The waves were so good
that I got stoked just from watching. I bet the photographers and
surfers were having big O!
Seriously, I am stoked to know that there would be waves at San Onofre
a.k.a. SanO tomorrow where people of SDDS and OCDS will be gathering. I
plan to be there at 6 a.m. Looking forward to see y'all there!
