Marina Lavelle explains her experience surfing at San Onofre State Beach with friends of USDSA.

United States Deaf Surfriders Association provides leadership, safety awareness, social and competition to deaf surfriders in the United States. This organization also further mainstreams and increases awareness of deaf surfers in hearing and deaf cultures.
I was riding my bike to the beach to play beach volleyball. I nearly
rode my bike towards the rocks while watching perfect peeling waves at
the jetties. There were bunch of photographers lined up there taking
pictures of the surfers riding in the barrels. The riders kept on
getting barreled, one after another without fail. The waves were so good
that I got stoked just from watching. I bet the photographers and
surfers were having big O!
Seriously, I am stoked to know that there would be waves at San Onofre
a.k.a. SanO tomorrow where people of SDDS and OCDS will be gathering. I
plan to be there at 6 a.m. Looking forward to see y'all there!
